Student Learning Plan

The Student Learning Plan is an agreements between the student and his or her Faculty Adviser, representing a mutual understanding between student and adviser of the courses to be taken, credits requested and requirements for full credit. The first Learning Plan is due to the Faculty Adviser by the end of the second week of classes each semester.

By the end of the eighth week of class it is the student's responsibility to demonstrate that one-third of all requirements have been successfully completed. At this time the Faculty Adviser will reevaluate the original Learning Plan and inform the student in writing if the he or she is in danger of receiving partial credit only. The Learning Plan may be renegotiated at any time during the semester, but all Learning Plans must be included in the Portfolio of Learning due at the end of the semester.

What Students Say

"Now that I am back in the United States, one thing I really miss is the food—especially the cafeteria! Where else can you eat delicious, healthy food for only $2 per day?"

—David Vanadia, Spring 2005
